Stoff wants You!

Stockholm Fringe Fest is now seeking innovative performance, street and installation artists!

After an explosive launch in 2010 we are excited to announce that Stockholm’s very own fringe fest now is welcoming submissions for its 2nd year! Stoff are looking for proposals from emerging artists whose work challenges and questions conventional artistic forms to perform at Stoff 22-28 August 2011!

Due to the successful premiere of Stoff in 2010 we have been offered the opportunity to work with even more exciting partners in 2011. This also means that the festival will be modified slightly to incorporate new features and a few special ‘Trump Cards’. We have also decided to move the event to the sizzling month of August. This is so that we can be closer to our big brother and sister festivals and also to exploit Stockholm’s fabulous outdoor venues/locations to their maximum potential.

Who can apply?
Stoff is a festival that aims to support and promote cutting edge theatre and performance making. The Fest is foremost focused on promoting artists who have not yet found their feet in the industry however we also welcome submissions from established groups/individuals who promote innovation in their artistic work.

Stoff 2011 will take place on outdoor and indoor stages in central and metropolitan Stockholm. A special ‘Young Stoff’ stage will be dedicated to younger artists.

Stoff 2011 artists will get the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a new audience, meet artists from around globe and partake in (or lead) workshops related to their craft.
