Pitchpad ASEAN | call for performing arts projects from around the world

As part of the media partnership between ASEF culture360 and Borak Arts, we are happy to introduce Pitchpad ASEAN is a forum for creators and arts professionals from around the world to share and discover new performing arts projects. Up to ten submissions are selected to pitch their new works to a stellar line-up of international festival directors and venue programmers in the presence of more than 170 performing arts professionals.

Applications are open to creators and arts professionals with performing arts projects.  Prospective projects must meet one of the following two criteria:

  • the work is still in developmental stage with plans to premiere in the next two years OR

  • works already premiered but has not yet toured outside its country of origin


Deadline for applications: 31 July 2016


Pitchpad ASEAN takes place during the Borak Arts Series conference in Georgetown, Penang on 28 August 2016

Successful participants will be hosted in Georgetown to aid them in their pitch. Professional performing artists or companies can email armani@mypaa.com.my to request for the application form. Candidates are required to submit their applications by 31 July 2016.
