Fukuoka Asian Art Museum | Asia artists residencies

Open Call for the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum's artist in residence program 2018. This time, 1-3 artists will be selected from 21 countries/region in Asia for a residency in Fukuoka, Japan. The program will be placing even more importance on “exchange” with the museum visitors and local community through a creative channel of art.

  Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam

• Residency Period:

  1) May to August 2018

  2) September to December 2018

  3) January to March 2019

  Total residency period: 45-90 days
  * Period of residency will be decided according to the proposed project plan and the discussion between FAAM and candidates.

• Applications period:

From 20 September to 20 November, 2017
* All the application material should arrive before 20 November, 2017.
