Digital Choc 2016 – Futurama - is the 5th edition of the France-Japan digital arts and new media festival taking place in Tokyo 19 February - 21 March. Following the success of the previous editions, and thanks to the solid support of its different partners, the Digital Choc Festival, presenting French-Japanese creativity and collaborations in the fields of digital arts and new media, will celebrate its 5th edition in 2016. Celebrating the year of innovation, this new Digital Choc festival edition seeks to examine how artists, researchers and engineers interrogate our visions of the future and the ways in which we dream up fantasies of the future informed by new technologies. Artificial intelligence - biotechnologies - robotics - Digital Choc reflects on the myths which constitute our  future visions ... and imagines new ones. As part of Digital Choc, the Contemporary Computer Music Concert takes place on 5 & 6 March 2015 in the Espace Images of l’Institut français de Tokyo Le festival de musique acousmatique et électroacoustique CCMC2016 se déroulera cette année encore à Tokyo, avec des oeuvres de compositeurs français et japonais interprétées en “live” sur Acousmonium  (orchestre de hauts-parleurs) qui permet la spatialisation du son. Le compositeur français Vincent Laubeuf, lauréat du 8^e concours international Luc Ferrari en 2008, sera présent à Tokyo et à Kyoto pour des concerts-conférences. A Tokyo, les oeuvres sélectionnées de la jeune création seront présentées avec la remise du Prix ACSM116 par Vincent Laubeuf (président du Jury), ainsi que les prix FUTURA et MOTUS. Digital Choc is organised in partnership with the main players in digital and media arts in Japan.
