Japan performing arts scene mapped in IFmapp JAPON | in French

The Institut Francais has undertaken a detailed mapping of the performing arts scene in Japan and produced a digital platform IFmapp JAPON with the main venues, festivals, universities, networks and main performing arts activities.

You can consult IFmapp JAPON to learn more about the performing arts activists and hotspots.  The mapping project had been initiated by the Institut Francais in Japan, in collaboration with its digital department as an information service.

The project is in FRENCH language but, inside the database, it is relatively easy to navigate much of the content via the English language names and websites of the internationally active Japanese performing arts sites, festivals and artists.  Looks like a good new resource.
