The 6^th World Summit on Arts and Culture (January 13-16 2014) will be jointly hosted by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CNCA), the Chilean Government’s entity in charge of implementing public policies for cultural development. The theme for the 6^th World Summit is Creative Times: new models for cultural development. The summit will address how globalisation, shifts in social and economic development and new forms of communication are generating an array of challenges and opportunities within the cultural field, with an impact transcending the artistic realm. Registration is now open Earlybird rates until 30 September It is expected that up to 400 delegates from 80 countries will attend the 6^th World Summit, with a particular focus on encouraging the participation and engagement of representatives from Latin America.
