ASSITEJ Korea International Summer Theatre Festival 2023
From 15 to 30 July 2023 the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ) International Summer Festival will be held in Seoul, Korea.
The ASSITEJ International Summer Festival is Korea's largest performing arts festival for children and young people, where audiences can see excellent domestic and foreign children's and youth plays in one place. The Festival, which started as the Seoul Children's Performing Arts Festival in 1993, has become an international performing arts festival by inviting outstanding children's plays from abroad in 1995.
In 2023 it has companies from the UK, France, Spain, Australia, and Korea.
Over the past 25 years, a total of 300,000 spectators have attended the festival, which consisted of performances, workshops, and exhibitions of various genres, including not only plays for children and young people, but also dance plays, music plays, and object plays.
