Vilnius Film Shorts is a competitive festival where the best films in three categories such as fiction, animation and documentary are selected by International Jury. Every year the winner of the festival is awarded by a Major Prize - 1km 16mm Color film, established by KODAK. Also, the Jury selects the winners of any categories as following:
- Vilnius Film Shorts 1st place;
- Vilnius Film Shorts 2nd place;
- Vilnius Film Shorts 3rd place.
