Since its inception in 1954, the Sydney Film Festival has enhanced its position and reputation to become the leading international film festival in Australia. The SFF program celebrates the best of the world's cinema and includes features, documentaries, short films, retrospectives, a silent film presentation, films for families and a series of industry events and forums. SFF is accredited by the Federation Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films (FIAPF).
