National Academy of Performing Arts Repertory Theatre

The National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) Repertory Theatre was established in 2008 with the following objectives:

  1. To provide a platform for NAPA alumni and students to showcase their skills as actors and directors;
  2. To provide the citizens of Karachi with quality theatre works and inculcate a theatre going habit in the local populace;
  3. To create a climate in which quality dramas and plays can be staged on a professional basis;
  4. To encourage playwrights to write for stage performances.

The plays staged by NAPA ranges from the classical, experimental, melodramatic to the modern. NAPA performs as many genres as possible in an attempt to introduce students and general audiences to the wide variety of theatrical genres available.
