Filipinas Heritage Library

The Filipinas Heritage Library, a division of the Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI), is a one-stop electronic research center on the Philippines. The Library provides access to the wealth of Filipino heritage through the latest in information technology and telecommunications.

The Library houses over 13,000 contemporary volumes on Philippine history, art, language, religion and the social sciences, and over 2,000 rare titles, rare books on microfiche, maps, and an extensive library of slides and photographs.

It has also ventured into the digitization of its collection, CD-ROM publishing, as well as the development of web pages and electronic databases.

A rich collection of resources on the life and works of our national hero, Jose Rizal.

  • Memorare


Books, articles, and documents on the Liberation of Manila, donated by the Memorare Manila 1945 Foundation, Inc.

  • Photography


Over 400 photography books from the Camera Club of the Philippines and the latest photography magazines from The Alcove Perspective.

  • Museology


Valuable resources on the discipline of museum design, organization, and management. Also referred to as the Araneta Collection, named after its owner, Geraldine Araneta

  • Ayala Corner


A collection of non-Filipiniana resources covering a wide range of subjects, including management, information technology, literature, and self-help.

  • Migration


A collection of books on the Filipino diaspora.

  • The Roderick Hall Collection


Books and novels on Manila and the Philippines during World War II, donated by Mr. Roderick Hall.
