Villa Kujoyama | France-Japan artist residencies

Applications are invited from French nationals/residents for artistic residencies at the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto province, Japan in 2011.

The Villa Kujoyama in association with the Institut Franco-Japonais du Kansai is a programme sponsored by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culturesfrance.

Around twelve artists in total will be selected from the disciplines of visual arts, performing arts, literature, audiovisual, research in social and human sciences, theory and criticism in each of the disciplines.  Residencies take place in 2011, lasting 4-6 months.

The programme was launched in 1992 and has accommodated over 150 resident artists and researchers since then.
