CUBE, Centre for the Urban Built Environment is delighted to announce its annual open submission competition. Now in its fourth year the competition attracts entries from around the globe. Artists, architects and designers are invited to submit work that responds to the theme of the urban built environment. The selections will be done by: Peter Kelly (Editor of Blueprint), Office of Subversive Architecture and Manchester Modernist Society.

The most outstanding project will be awarded £1000 and the applicant will be offered a residency as part of CUBELab 2011— two runners up will awarded £250 each. The shortlisted entries will form part of an exhibition at CUBE in 2010.
