Pro Helvetia residencies in South and East Asia

Pro Helvetia is calling for applications from creative practitioners with connection to Switzerland for their three-month residencies in South Asia and East Asia. The residencies are available with partner institution in China, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Viet Nam. 

Eligibility

Cultural practitioners from Switzerland who are active in any of the disciplines supported by Pro Helvetia (design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts). Applications from both individuals and artist duos are accepted.

Financial contribution

• Accommodation
• Travel costs
• Daily allowances
• Professional support
• Workstation (on request)
• Contribution towards production/material costs (on request)

In addition, parents can apply for financial support of up to 1,000 CHF per month to put towards childcare or to use for the travel expenses of their children and, if applicable, a caregiver. Applicants must submit an approximate budget of all expenses in advance.
