International Centre for Art and New Technologies CIANT invites artists and researchers to apply for RESET Residency in Prague, Czech Republic in November 2010.

In the framework of the X-OP residency International Centre for Art and New Technologies CIANT invites artists and researchers to apply for a short-term residency to be carried out in Prague during November 2010 and to result in a participation at RESET FEST 2010 to be held in Prague December 2 - 4, 2010.

CIANT is seeking a pre-finalized artistic or research project that can be finalized in Prague and presented to the public during the RESET FEST. The project can be either an artistic work, preferably of performance type, or a paper specifically dealing with the theme "OLD IS NEW". It should use or reflect on the contemporary re-mix of old and new technologies while situating itself in a critical stand towards the issues of media, performance, and memory.

Resident(s) will have access to CIANT LAB facility and benefit from financial support of both the stay and the production process leading into the public presentation.

- Project description (up to one page)
- Short motivation letter describing how the project matches the objective of the call for residency
- Forecast production budget
- Short CV (up to half a page)
