The 13th World Music & Jazz Forum, BABEL MED MUSIC in Marseilles, 16-18 March 2017, has an open call for artists who wish to be considered for the programme, which aims to enhance the value and importance of CURRENT TRENDS OF WORLD MUSIC.

From the 16th to the 18th of March 2017, BABEL MED MUSIC will host in Marseilles the economic and cultural stakeholders of global music. Gathering more than 2000 professionals from 5 continents and 15,000 spectators attending the 31 concerts, this rich forum has become since 2005 the must-attend event of the entire sector. Babel Med Music offers a programme that enhances the value and importance of current trends of world music.

For selected artists, Babel Med Music will pay the following expenses for musicians only:

• A minimum payment


• Contribution to transport costs


• Hotel expenses (in twin rooms) for the night of the performance


• Meals for the evening of the performance


• Passes for the duration of the event
