Festarte VideoArt Festival III International Competition will be held in Rome in September 2010 - call to artists for short works on theme of 'Invisible Violence'.

Artists are invited to investigate a kind of violence that  does not hurt the body, that cannot be seen and it hits  you without even touching you. It can stem from the environments that are supposed to protect us, hiding behind unsusceptible behaviour and subtly becoming part of our history, culture, politics. Feel it, disclose it – a breath of freedom.

Deadline to send the requested Videos and Documentation Tuesday, July 20, 2010
Maximum length of videos: 8 minutes

Further showings of the selected works will be subsequently held in a few of the principal Italian museums.
