France | Horizons Arts-Nature in Sancy 2022 - call for proposals

Call for proposals from visual artists for the 16th Horizons "Arts-Nature" in Sancy. Scheduled from 18th June to 18th September 2022, the sixteenth Horizons “Arts-Nature” en Sancy contemporary art event will feature highly original visual artworks of an ephemeral nature, created specifically for the Massif du Sancy. 

The call for projects launched by the Sancy Tourist Office is for the creation of 10 artworks to be installed across the towns and villages of the Massif du Sancy local council community.

Horizons “Arts-Nature” en Sancy is a national-scale artistic event aimed at a wide audience of experienced art enthusiasts and novices alike. The exhibits will be installed at sites that help to highlight the natural surroundings. 

The originality of this event is that it features highly original visual artworks of an ephemeral nature, created specifically for the Massif du Sancy. Each artist takes inspiration from the site to design a piece that specifically fits the region. This aspect is just as important as the artwork itself.
