Czech Republic | international Hands On! conference

Hands On! Conference, 11-14 October 2017, Czech Republic - an opportunity to discover the latest developments in children’s education in museums and science centers while exploring three historical cities in the Czech Republic. REGISTRATION is open and the early bird rate is available until 31 July.

Hosted by Sladovna Gallery Hands On! will start our journey in Pilsen, spend a day in Pisek and end the conference in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Our theme is: Future in Children’s Hands: Informal Education as a Tool for Social Change We will focus on the importance of informal education in the 21st century, exploring subjects such as the impact of digital technology, child development through art, storytelling and play, and the future of museums as places of social engagement. The Award Ceremony for the 2017 Children in Museums Award will take place at the 11th Hands On! Conference, 11-14 October 2017 in the Czech Republic - take a look at the SHORTLIST
