Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

The Academy conducts a comprehensive range of full-time diploma courses and delivers degree programmes in partnership with reputable universities from Singapore and the UK. Courses are taught by an international faculty of academics and leading arts practitioners who are passionate about imparting lifelong skills in the arts. Courses are designed to enable students to think critically, creatively and independently and at the same time master important technical skills in a disciplined and structured pace. Engagement and partnerships with industry, the arts community and cultural organisations are regular features and part of the learning process to help our students acquire a repertoire of complex skills-set and knowledge.
NAFA thrives on diversity and welcomes a culturally diverse student population from Asia and beyond. Our students are sought after by arts organisations and the creative industry. Numerous alumni have gone on to make an impact in their diverse fields of practice. The Academy has groomed 12 Cultural Medallion recipients, Singapore’s highest accolade bestowed to arts practitioners who have made significant impact in the arts and culture, and 13 Young Artist Award winners.
As an advocate of lifelong learning, NAFA is dedicated to developing a greater appreciation for the arts in both children and adults. The School of Young Talents is a pioneer arts school that offers weekend courses in art, music, dance and drama for 4 - 18-year-olds. For adults, our Continuing Education Office offers enrichment courses and part-time certificate programmes.
