Living with Heritage Project

In 2013, the Living with Heritage Project (LHP) was created as a Facebook-based non-profit group. The LHP aims to contribute to research on Khmer and indigenous minority culture to raise public awareness. The research team frequently visits rural areas and document their daily lives using photographs, videos, voice and written brief narratives. The result of each research has then been published on the LHP Facebook page. Since the beginning, the team has conducted countless research at the community level using their own budget. In several cases, page viewers donated generously for transportation or recording materials for LHP to research on topics such as traditional music, ritual practices, traditional games, songs etc.
