Korean Cultural Center Australia

Established in Australia in 2011, marking the 50th diplomatic relations between Australia and Korea, the Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) has been introducing traditional and contemporary Korean culture in Australia through a variety of Korean cultural activities. In doing so, the KCC aims to lay groundwork to bring the two nations together and understand each other better.

The KCC has been established in order for Australians to be able to taste and experience diverse aspects of Korean culture in Australia. Everyone is given an opportunity to learn more about Korea and experience the charms of Korean culture in the KCC that is situated in the heart of Sydney, in venues where the KCC brings cultural events to the public, and on the KCC’s online spaces where lots of information is provided.

Throughout the year, the KCC offers a variety of cultural programmes which include education programmes for kids/youth along with cultural classes and events for the general public. KCC’s activities also include art exhibitions, film screenings, culinary events and numerous performances for anyone who is interested in Korean culture to become more familiar with Korea.
