The International Ballet Association Luxemburg was created in 1990 according to the laws of a non-profit-making association and was recognised an association of public utility in March 2000, by a Grand-Ducal decree.

The International Ballet Association Luxemburg has the objective to organise cultural manifestations, luxemburgish or international and more particularly the International Dance Competition of Luxemburg,  which has become a major international event in Luxembourg and across the borders.
