Bangladesh Folk Art and Craft Foundation

The Bangladesh Folk Art and Crafts Foundation was established on 12th March in 1975. The major functions of the Foundation is to preserve traditional Folk Art and Crafts of Bangladesh; create training facilities on traditional folk are and crafts; establish folk are & crafts Museum in different regions of the country; establish a crafts village at Sonargaon; conduct research on folk art and crafts and publish the research findings; identify areas of cooperation and chalk out joint programmes on traditional on traditional folk art and crafts with other countries; and many more.
