Bangkok Music Society

The Bangkok Music Society supports the performance and appreciation of music in Thailand. This non-profit music society organises regular activities for its members, including house concerts for members and larger public events in hotels and concert halls in Bangkok. Revenue from music events is given to charities and provides partial scholarships for deserving and talented Thai music students each year.

The range of musical styles is wide, from the classics to jazz and musicals. We offer opportunities to attend or participate in regular in-house concerts and larger performances for public audience. Local artists are encouraged, and the BMS sponsors annual scholarships for young talented Thai musicians. Occasionally visiting artists are also able to perform with or for us here in Bangkok. Many of the events support Thai charities.

One of their goals is to provide scholarships for young musicians. The BMS also arranges informal musical evenings to provide instrumentalists among our members with opportunities to perform in solo works, duets, quartets and more.
