AY Foundation

The AY Foundation (AYF) traces its roots to the Bayanihan Foundation set up in 1970 by Amb. Alfonso Yuchengco, to administer an educational fund for the children of Grepalife employees and sales associates. But the foundation's scholarship programme later expanded to include street children and members of the indigenous groups. Likewise, grants for professorial chairs and school building assistance were also extended by the foundation to selected educational institutions.

AYF's vision is to be a focused professional foundation that will make an impact on moral values development and science and technology education in Philippine society. They aim to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the Filipino - especially the poor and the disadvantaged - particularly in the formation of moral values and in the education of our youth, with emphasis on the field of science and technology.
