Setouchi Art Triennale | call for art proposals

The Setouchi Triennale is a contemporary art festival that takes place on multiple islands of Japan's Seto Inland Sea. It was first held in 2010 and attracted a great response from hundreds of thousands of visitors. The next triennale will take place in 2013. The organizers are currently seeking site-specific art proposals in four categories:

  1. Works using the piers

  2. Works that take the island’s nature and history as their theme

  3. Alley Project: Works created mainly in the alleys of the Ogijima island and the alley to the “Damon’s cave” of the Megijima island
