Purin Pictures Production and Post-production Funds

Purin Pictures Production and Post-production Fund is now open for submissions - for films whose director is a citizen of a Southeast Asian country. There is no application fee, and the deadline is September 1st, 2020.

Brief eligibility info:

• Applications are open for fiction and documentary films over 60 minutes in length. We do not accept applications for short films.
• The director of the film must be a citizen of a SEA country. The primary production company must also be registered in a SEA country. SEA countries are: Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
• To reflect the commitment of Purin Pictures to promote under-represented voices in SEA cinema, at least one grant each session is earmarked for a first or second-time female feature filmmaker.
