New Zealand | Asia | arts grants programmes

None Asia New Zealand Foundation (Asia:NZ) grants and opportunities for New Zealand arts organisations and individuals to build knowledge and understanding of Asia. Includes museum placement in Singapore and Japan residency.

  • Arts grants

Through the arts and community grants we support New Zealand-based organisations and individuals running projects of merit that educate New Zealanders about Asian arts and culture.

Who can apply?

  • Arts and cultural institutions

  • New Zealand-based arts professionals

  • Local and regional councils

  • Festival and event organisers

  • Individuals (must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents)

The grants cover professional development and arts as well as community events or projects supported by local government.

Note: We are no longer able to support community projects that primarily benefit the applicant community. Community-based projects must demonstrate support by local government or arts institutions. We are in the process of updating our application form to reflect these changes.

Deadline for last grant round of 2011 ► 5pm on Friday 25 November
