Toji Cultural Foundation residency for Spanish writers image of house

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and the Toji Cultural Foundation are calling for writers based in Spain to apply for a two-month residency at the Toji Cultural Foundation in Seoul, Korea, between September and October 2022.

The aim of this programme is to allow creators to participate in international collaborations, and to promote their international mobility, encourage national creative production and strengthen links between cultural institutions in Korea and Spain.

The selected writer will work on an ongoing literary project, as well as establish networks with other creators and explore the resources of both the Toji Cultural Foundation and the city of Seoul itself.

Who can apply?

Applicants must be writers who reside and develop their activity in Spain and they must have at least one work published, as well as a work in progress, which can be in the form of novel, story, essay, poem, short story, theatre or other. Applicants must also have a B1 level of English or Korean.
