India Green World Art Festival | open call

None Green World Art Festival calls for proposals from visual and performing artists on the theme of 'Tree and Life'.  Festival in Jammu, India Oct 31 - Nov 17.

Green World Art Festival is a new festival, organised by Prerana,a non–profit, non–sectarian, non–political, non–Govt. development organization working towards building a better future through sustainable development in a nature–friendly atmosphere. The activities of ‘Prerana’ include environmental protection, eco development, green world order, cultural exchange, national integration, drug de–addiction and promotion of cultural heritage and environmental activities. From common people on the street to policy makers, cine artists, musicians, painters, dancers and all sections of civil society are associated with its programmes.

The festival takes place in Odisha, one of the most beautiful regions of the eastern India nestling on the shores of Bay of Bengal, at Mansar Lake (Jammu) with a meeting point for participating artists at Bhubaneshwar, state capital of Orissa.

Artists from all artistic fields - such as painting, sculpture, music, vocal, theatre, dance (contemporary/folk/classical), and performance art and art research - are invited to apply.

The theme is: Tree and Life.
