Can ONE FRAGILE OBJECT, in times of email, chat and mobility, pass one time ALL AROUND THE WORLD safely – from hand to hand, charging itself with stories and people?

Will it be the same when it returns?

...well connected virtually on diverse exchange platforms.
...in a continuous and vibrant global exchange.
...global travellers.
...professionally and emotionally connected all over the world.

With FRAGILE - global performance chain journey performer from around the whole world work together in one same action, everybody the way he/she does. All will carry one object around the planet.

This will take time (months, years?). This is not a battle against time, or a “Travel around the world in 80 days”.
It is the performative passing of an object from one performance artist’s hand to the others, responsibly, trustfully and creatively.

The journey of the object and the performers will be communicated on www.fragile-global-performance.net, the Facebook group and the YouTube channel.

The object will be fragile. It will pass through hundreds of people’s hand around the fragile planet.  The journey starts and ends in Florence, Italy.
