Cambodia | 19th Angkor Photo Workshops

The Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops, 19 – 28 January 2024 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, is calling for applications from photographers of all Asian nationalities aged 21 and above.

For the 19th Edition, a group of 20 selected participants will be collectively led by 6 tutors and alumni facilitators. 

The workshops welcome all methods and approaches to the medium of photography. However, the organisers believe it is important to foster photographic practices which position themselves in and with the world. As such, they encourage applications from participants who are keen to create ‘outward facing’ work, whether as part of their ongoing practice, or as a new invitation to return to it.

During the workshop, participants will create a body of work, which will then be shared with the public as part of the festival’s programme.

Eligibility and requirements

• Open to all photographers of Asian nationalities aged 21 years and above
• The workshop is conducted in English
• Participants will have their own photographic equipment and laptop

Expenses and accommodation

• There is no application fee, and if selected, the workshops are free
• Accommodation will be provided from 19 – 28 Jan 2024
