Abandon Normal Devices (AND) invites UK and international filmmakers to submit feature-length, short film, and moving image works that defy conventional boundaries. Narrative, documentary, live action, and hybrid forms are welcome for submission.

AND is a festival of new cinema and digital culture that will take place between September 29 and October 2, 2011 in the UK's northwestern region. It will celebrate experimental filmmaking on screens, in galleries, and even beyond into the streets, interacting in unexpected ways with the audience.
