2023 IETM Global Connect programme for supported membership

Global Connect 2023 is calling for applications from performing arts professionals worldwide (producers, artists, managers, presenters, and more), working in an organisation or as a freelancer, who have at least five years of professional experience.

The programme is led by the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM) and aims to make the network more inclusive, diverse and accessible. 

Selected IETM Global Connectors will have the opportunity to broaden their international connections, develop new skills and knowledge, actively share their perspectives with the network and bring new insights and learnings to their communities. 

Selected applicants will receive an IETM membership for five years (2023–2027), with free access to all IETM meetings. They will receive funding support to take part in the 2023 IETM Plenary Meeting in Aarhus, Denmark and, as part of the plenary, in the yearly IETM Global Connectors Gathering. 

Selection criteria

• Be currently working in the contemporary performing arts anywhere in the world
• Have a minimum of five years professional experience in the performing arts field
• Be able to demonstrate a commitment to increasing global awareness, inclusion, accessibility and connectivity for the benefit of their communities
• Be able to communicate proficiently in English 

IETM strongly welcomes applications from countries and regions where IETM does not have any members, in particular from countries across the Global South.
