The Musee du Quai Branly in Paris opens its 2010 season with Baba Bling a major exhibition of Peranakan cultural objects from Singapore.  A contemporary performing arts programme complements the Singapour Festivarts season. The Baba Bling exhibition runs from 5 October 2010 - 30 January 2011 and is curated by Kenson Kwok with Huism Tan from the Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore.  It focuses on the arts and culture of the Peranakan community in Singapore, presenting 480 objects. A performing arts programme of contemporary dance, music, theatre and cinema - Singapour Festivarts - runs from 8 October to 28 November in the auditorium.
