logo-2The Kultura Nova Foundation of Zagreb, Croatia is developing an international research project "Approaches to Participatory Governance of Cultural Institutions" and is seeking information through a worldwide mapping survey on emerging models of innovative cultural institutions that are developing around creative spaces based on participatory governance and some form of civil-public partnership. You can contribute to the survey for online mapping until March 1st.

Kultura Nova Foundation invites you to take part in an online mapping of participatory governance practices in culture which it is pursuing within the project "Approaches to Participatory Governance of Cultural Institutions", supported by UNESCO International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD).

Online mapping aims to encompass creative spaces in Europe and worldwide that involve the participation of diverse stakeholders (public authorities, non-profit and non-governmental organisations, private associations, artists, local community organisations, etc.), and are based on a variety of models of governance and management of cultural resources.

"Approaches to Participatory Governance of Cultural Institutions” is a two year project started in March 2016, focusing on the emerging models of innovative cultural institutions that are developing around creative spaces based on participatory governance and some form of civil-public partnership. Project activities include: research of participatory governance models and institutional frameworks, knowledge sharing and capacity building sessions, publication about participatory governance in culture and international conference about participatory governance in culture.

The survey for online mapping is open until March 1st 2017
