Festival Made in Asia 2018

In Toulouse, the festival MADE IN ASIA takes place from 31 March to 7 April. Its mission is to communicate the reality of contemporary Asia to audiences in France and to build bridges between East and West.

The 2018 edition of the festival presents works by artists from several countries in Asia, many from Cambodia, Japan and China. Audiences can choose from concerts, where Asian musicians with instruments such as koto, shamisen will be in dialogue with local musicians, recent and classic films, exhibitions and workshops.

Around 40 events are programmed in a variety of venues in the Toulouse metropolitan area, as well as a weekend event at the Abbaye de Belleperche in Tarn-et-Garonne where Japan is the guest of honour.

On the 4th April, the focus is on Cambodia with various events programmed at the Cave Poésie in Toulouse.
