Dubrovnik | The Best in Heritage conference

THE BEST IN HERITAGE annual, global conference featuring award-winning museum, heritage and conservation projects takes place in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 26-28 September 2018. Registration is open.

The 17th edition of the conference is organised in partnership with EUROPA NOSTRA with the support of Creative Europe programme & International Council of Museums (ICOM).

Every year, the organizers propose a handpicked list of projects.  For the 2018 conference the final selection of 'projects of influence' contains 28 projects in the core programme and 14 projects in the  multimedia / new technologies segment IMAGINES. Projects from China, Japan, Portugal, Italy, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Netherlands, Ireland, Russia, Croatia, Denmark, Cyprus and Slovenia are among those to be presented.

The IMAGINES event on September 26th will feature cases of best practices in the field of Apps, Websites, Online content, Film, Animation, Storytelling, APIs and Interactives. 

The Best in Heritage is an annual conference on which award-winning museum, heritage and conservation projects present their success stories. Representatives of over forty laureates elaborate on their achievements, which have been recognised by professional juries over the past year for their outstanding quality. Aim of the conference is to promote these exceptional projects which demonstrate innovation and excellence concerning the care and communication of heritage.
