ASEMUS 10th Anniversary: Preparatory meeting, Singapore

Representatives of museums in Asia and Europe convened at the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) on the 13^th and 14^th of May 2010, in a preparatory meeting for the ASEMUS (Asia-Europe Museum Network) General Conference, which will take place at Musée du quai Branly, Paris, from 8 to 11 Sept 2010.

The upcoming conference will mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of ASEMUS, which has now grown as a network of over 70 museums in Asia and Europe. Since its inception, ASEF has actively supported the network as one of its flagship programmes, including ASEMUS projects such as, “Self and Other. Portraits from Asia and Europe”, “Virtual Collection of Masterpieces”, and “Museum Education and Public Programmes”.
