ASEF Unplugged – Conversations on the Arts in Asia and Europe in Bengaluru, India takes place on 28-29 January 2019. ASEF Unplugged is the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF)’s new event series offering more informal and intimate spaces for open, authentic and peer-to-peer conversations. Designed as a meet-and-greet session, ASEF Unplugged is a format responsive to the rapidly changing needs of an increasingly interactive and engaged audience.

For this 5th edition in Bengaluru, ASEF will bring together 10 cultural experts from Asia and Europe for a day and a half of conversation on the issues of Cultural Policy Information System in the 21st Century. Is the information system still relevant to users in Asia and Europe today? Should the readership for the information system be widened? How would the future of an information system for cultural policy look like in an increasingly technology-savvy world?

ASEF Unplugged: Conversations on the Arts in Asia and Europe was launched in May 2018 in Prague, the Czech Republic and has been on the journey across Asia and Europe since.

This meeting is a by invitation only. The results of the meeting will be published on culture360.ASEF.org in the coming weeks.
