'We Are Asia' is the strapline for Art Stage Singapore, the huge art fair billed as "Asia's global art gathering" and running 16-19 January 2014. At the crossroads between Southeast Asia, China, India, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, Art Stage Singapore has exhibitors from 28 countries, and is described as the flagship cultural event of the region and the place to experience Asian Contemporary Art at its best. With its strong Asian identity and its support of art scenes in the region, Art Stage Singapore cooperates with Asian galleries, artists and collectors to create a distinctive matchmaking and networking platform. The Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA), a new centre in Singapore,  is devoted to advancing knowledge in contemporary art through education, research, exhibition and artist-in-residence programmes.
