1465251_704220543028497_2205893749331922617_n The 7th Yangon Photo Festival on the theme of « I love you » runs at the French Institute in Yangon from February 13 -28 2015. The Festival’s purpose is to exhibit in Yangon a selection of the best works produced around the world and to nurture a new generation of Myanmar photographers.

WALL OF LOVE – CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Yangon Photo Festival is now looking for graffitis of Love in English, French & Myanmar languages. Please send your ORIGINAL FILES (high res) to melanie.agron@gmail.com before January 31st (NB deadline extended - see Yangon Photo Festival on Facebook) and get your photo exhibited at the Yangon Photo Festival! logo The festival programme includes several exhibitions, intensive photography masterclasses taught in English and Burmese and the 'Wall of Love' featuring graffiti expressions of love submitted from around the world. The festival is free and open to everyone - events, exhibitions and workshops have different dates and venues, mostly throughout February. The Yangon Photo Festival is under the patronage of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. We work to develop training opportunities and workshop programs, host photographic exhibitions and screenings of documentary film and multimedia, and provide support for independent documentary projects.
