The first Festival Management workshop was recently held in Ha Noi by the British Council. About 25 art promoters and festival organisers from Ha Noi, HCM City, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Hue, and Binh Thuan attended the training course led by UK festival director Nick Dodds. Huynh Tien Dat, the deputy director of the Hue Festival Centre, spoke about the course.

The British Council in co-ordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to organise a three-year capacity-building programme on festival management.
