Tokyo International Film Festival
The Tokyo International Foundation for Promotion of Screen Image Culture is the base of the Tokyo International Film Festival. The foundation was established in Tokyo in February 1985. Its goals include the promotion of international exchange through films and visual images, the advancement of visual technology and the further development of the film industry.
More than 300 diverse films will be screened at various projects.
Competition: The excellent works will be selected focusing on criteria: "unearthing new talents who will shoulder tomorrow's film world" and "the fine balance between artistic and commercial". Among those works, Tokyo Grand Prix will be awarded.
