The Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) aims to be a body dynamic and major country broadcasting world standard, by publishing entertainment, information and programs, radio (1921) and viable television (1963) compete by using state-of-the-art technology and fulfil taste audience direction achieve the country's vision.

The objectives are: 

• Disseminate information through the medium of radio, TV and new media.
• Upholding the Malay language and maintain the cultural heritage through broadcasting services.
• Expanding the reach of audience through various broadcast platforms.
• Create platforms and contribute to the development of creative industry.
