One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival
One World is committed to bringing the works of filmmakers from across the world to places where their messages can be heard, absorbed, and acted upon. The festival consists of an international competition of feature-length and short documentary films and videos, retrospectives and tributes, educational screenings for primary and secondary schools, workshops, debates, concerts and photo exhibitions.
The People in Need Foundation each year presents the Homo Homini award to an individual who has significantly served in the fight for human rights, democracy, and non-violent resolutions to political conflicts. Homo Homini is the only human-rights award in the Czech Republic and is presented each year during the One World Festival.
