National Culture Fund

The National Culture Fund (NCF) was established as a funding mechanism distinct from the existing sources and patterns of funding for the arts and culture in India. It enables institutions and individuals to support arts and culture directly as partners with its government.

The NCF endeavours to preserve and promote tangible and Intangible heritage in partnership with the community. The NCF invites institutions and individuals to participate in the promotion and preservation of India's culture. The NCF provides institutional support to develop and implement projects in partnership. It ensures complete flexibility in project management and extends technical support to the projects. NCF also provides a forum for public visibility and accountability.
