Music Export Denmark

Music Export Denmark (MXD) is a joint initiative of Denmark’s Radio, The Roskilde Festival/ the Venue Foundation, and the Danish Rock Council, ROSA, with the aim to promote Danish music abroad.

The objectives of MXD are to support the export of Danish Music and to promote Danish Professional popular music abroad, both commercially and culturally. These objectives are to be achieved primarily by means of:

• Financial support of Danish music export initiatives and concert campaigns;
• An increased international awareness of Danish Music;
• The retrieval and processing of information and know-how.
