Faculty of Fine Art University of Dhaka

The Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University (originally The Government Institute of Arts) has been the central point in the evolution of the modern art movement in Bangladesh. Although it started with only 18 students, the total number of students in 2013 was more than 700. 

The departments within the University include:

6. Oriental Art and Mural Painting
7. Sculpture
8. History of Art
